The chart below gives a bit of information on what our capabilities are. For further information or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. We would love you hear from you!
|Equipment Type||Gas Fired Car-bottom Furnace|
|Workable Dimensions||84″ Wide X 240″ Long X 60″ High|
|Max Load||20 Tons|
|Services||Annealing & Stress Relieving|
Annealing: A heat treatment process which alters the microstructure of a material to change its mechanical or electrical properties. Typically, in steels, annealing is used to reduce hardness, increase ductility and help eliminate internal stresses.
Stress Relieving: The treatment of a metal or alloy by heating to a predetermined temperature below its lower transformation temperature followed by cooling in air. The primary purpose is to relieve stresses that have been absorbed by the metal from processes such as forming, straightening, machining or rolling.
